No Space for Female Cricketers in Kashmir cricket athletes allege.



 Our Kashmir has large number of athletes especially cricket aspirants. It is obvious that male athletes are playing at national level and got good reverence at state level sports. But our female cricketers although playing at national level but discriminated at state level which degraded the status of our athletes. 

 Mehak Sofi hails from Mattan Akoora of Anantnag District is playing cricket at National level and participated in different tournaments at Himachal Pradesh in 2016. She is twenty years young athlete who also played at Rajkot Gujarat and Goa under 19 and also under 23 Bangalore. She has been rewarded as best wicket keeper at Nagpur for KPL.

Rubiya Sayeed 24 a national level Cricketer and Captain of Ranchi Trophy hails from Budasgam Hillar of Anantnag District starts playing cricket in 2011 at District level tournaments. She has been rewarded as all rounder at state as well as national level cricket. She played invNorth Zone in 2017 and is still heading as Captain of Ranchi Trophy. Rubiya has been also awarded a scooty for getting first position in Marathan Race.

Both the Female Cricketers appeal the higher ups to provide space and all required facilities to female cricketers at state level which they alleged that they are being discriminated and deprived at state level.
