Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNO): With the aim to encourage the meritorious girl who secured 490 marks in 12th class, the premier institute of Ganderbal Qamriya Model Higher Secondary Educational Institute Salora, run by a trust, felicitated Tabid-ul-Nisa with a cash award of Rs 10,000 and a gold medal.
Tabid-ul-Nisa belongs to a poor family and her father is working as a teacher in a private school.
Former Chief Secretary and Chairman Qamriya trust Sheikh Ghulam Rasool besides other members and teaching staff were present on the occasion.
