It is notified for the information of all the cancerned institutions/candidates that the students who have not studied vocational subject in class 9th and 10th (Level-1 and Level-2) can directly choose/opt vocational subject at class 11th as one of the fifth (5th) elective subject If they desire) under the scheme of studies which is presently in vogue.

It is to mention that the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education, Government of indla (Gol) with certain modifications have been made in the Scheme of Vocational Education for the

implementation of Vocational Education in Government High and Higher Secondary School.

Accordingly, the students can now opt fresh admission in vocational subject/s at Class 9th as well as in Class 11th for revised two-year pattern/scheme The other Terms and Conditions lald down in the Cirtular bearing No.Edu/SPD/SmS/VE/287-294/2021 dated 17/03/2021 issued by Directorate of Samagra Shiksha (1&K) shall be followed in leter & spirit by all the concerned Institutions.

The revised scheme shall be implemented from the turrent Academic Session 2020-21 in case of Kashmir Division/Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division including UT of Ladakh and Academic Session 2021-22 in Summer Zone areas Jammu Division.
